N Korean Films

  Johannes Schonherr, freelance writer specializing travel and culture, has recently published a book titled  North Korean Cinema: A History.

  Schonherr gave a talk about his book this evening at the press club in Tokyo, by showing several clips from North Korean films. It was an eye-opening experience to see what kind of movies North Korean people are watching over there. It was an informative lecture to see their suffering more vividly.
